What's this? Two journal entries inside one year?

Okay, it's official. The commercial I was in is now being broadcast nationwide. That doesn't make sense, considering it's for a local chain of grocery stores.

It's the dumbest commercial I've ever seen. The anchors on Good Morning America were making fun of it! Everyone is singing off-key, and the assholes who gave them microphones don't even know how to aim their cameras! Okay, here are the lyrics to the song.

It goes on, but I won't subject you to that kind of torment.

Would you consider a story "fanfiction" if it takes place in an almost identical world, but has absolutely no contact with any of the original story's plot or characters? I mean, I know I would never be able to publish it or anything with out the other author's permission, but would it be considered "fanfiction?"
